IT Process Maps News
Lindau (Bodensee), April 13, 2012
Following the publication of the 2011 edition of ITIL in July 2011, the ITIL Process Map had to be adapted to the latest guidance.
Although ITIL 2011 does, according to its authors, not add any entirely new concepts, we found many substantial changes which at times required far-reaching changes to our ITIL process model. As a result, it took us some nine months to adapt the ITIL Process Map to ITIL 2011 - as well as ISO/IEC 20000:2011.
We are also pleased to announce that our updated ITIL 2011 process model has successfully passed another official review by APMG, allowing it to retain its ITIL® Licensed Product logo.
In our ITIL Wiki we provide more details on the differences between the ITIL 2007 (ITIL V3) and ITIL 2011 process models.
For a first impression of the differences between ITIL V3 and ITIL 2011, take a look at our video "ITIL Process Map v3: ITIL 2011 Edition" [2:29 min.].
Our ITIL process model is officially licensed by AXELOS.
